The two-year Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) provides an entry to the career of pharmacy. It is the minimum qualification to register as a pharmacist in India. The applicant must have passed plus two in science stream with Physics, Chemistry and either Biology or Maths as Subjects. They are taught to fill up prescription orders under supervision, identify medications, process-related paperwork, understand and apply medical terminology whenever needed, and calculate drug dosages.
